Canvas in the Redbrick

Canvas was recently mentioned in the Redbrick! The Redbrick is the University of Birmingham student newspaper. It has been around since 1936 and is a great publication that everyone loves to read. There are always copies of the Redbrick around the Canvas House for students (and staff!) to peruse. There is a section where contributors list what is "fierce" and what is "finished." We were very excited to find that Canvas was mentioned in the "fierce" section! Here is what the text reads:

"Canvas House - Good samaritans don't come any better than the saintly souls of 29 Tiverton Road. They clean up Selly Oak, provide a chill out zone for students, oh, and give out more free food than you can shake a stick at."

We strive to build a community in Selly Oak known for love and this small shout out brings lots of encouragement for the team! Check out the photos below:
